    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 16.45 points to 1,481.28.

    Volume was 2.724 billion lots worth RM2.114 billion.

    Losers marginally outnumbered gainers 483 to 482.
