Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 18.83 points to 1,575.16.

Volume was 9.097 billion lots worth RM6.206 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 771 to 325.
