    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 16.64 points to 1,457.88.

    Volume was 2.795 billion lots worth RM1.867 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 687 to 308.
