Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 18.46 points to 1,609.94.
Volume was 11.852 billion lots worth RM7.245 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 631 to 500.
