    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday (Oct 18), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.09 points to 1,400.36.

    Volume was 2.405 billion lots worth RM1.711 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 566 to 272.
