    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.4 points to 1,554.58.

    Volume was 2.753 billion lots worth RM2.258 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 640 to 331.
