    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.19 points to 1,548.60.

    Volume was 5.512 billion lots worth RM2.788 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 575 to 424.
