MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.36 points to 1,652.76.

Volume was 2 billion lots worth RM1.7 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 428 to 357.
