MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.16 points to 1,789.05.  

Volume was 240 million lots worth RM2.03 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 461 to 434.
