Malaysia: Shares close higher on Wednesday

    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 7.02 points to 1,470.71.

    Volume was 2.187 billion lots worth RM1.362 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 477 to 351.
