    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.31 points to 1,554.91.

    Volume was 3.740 billion lots worth RM2.255 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 464 to 460.
