MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 6.44 points to 1,506.63.

Volume was 6.866 billion lots worth RM5.067 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 628to 441.
