    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 18.64 points to 1,564.34.

    Volume was 3.109 billion lots worth RM2.438 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 768 to 274.
