    Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 17.090 points to 1,652.550.

    Volume was 1.749 billion lots worth RM2.186 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 586 to 230.
