    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.53 points to 1,683.06.

    Volume was 1.8 billion lots worth RM1.7 billion.

    Losers beat gainers 460 to 373.
