Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday (Sep 23), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 14.18 points to 1,424.98.

    Volume was 1.844 billion lots worth RM1.574 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 540 to 278.
