MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 11.83 points to 1,564.59.

Volume was 10.456 billion lots worth RM 5.153 billion.

Losers far outnumbered gainers 981 to 213.
