MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 29.57 points to 1,525.21.

Volume was 11.146 billion lots worth RM8.256 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 588 to 552.
