    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.09 points to 1,776.220.

    Volume was 1.454 billion lots worth RM1.576 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 472 to 357.
