Malaysia: Shares close lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 13.65 points to 1,531.94.

Volume was 3.2 billion lots worth RM2.5 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 868 to 140.
