MALAYSIA share prices closed higher/lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.87 points to 1,581.14.

Volume was 2.447 billion lots worth RM1.573 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 558 to 314.
