MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.43 points to 1,751.64.

Volume was 2.402 billion lots worth RM2.165 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 477 to 400.
