Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 11.69 points to 1,542.80.

Volume was 2.4 billion lots worth RM1.9 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 597 to 285.
