Malaysia: Shares close lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 43.40 points to 1,259.88.

Volume was 2.794 billion lots worth RM2.312 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 771 to 161.
