    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.31 points to 1,859.91.

    Volume was 1.983 billion lots worth RM1.790 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 589 to 334.
