    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday (Aug 15) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.18 points to 1,504.01.

    Volume was 2.545 billion lots worth RM1.728 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 496 to 319.
