    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday (Sep 5) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.38 points to 1,489.80.

    Volume was 2.086 billion lots worth RM 1.252 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 499 to 367.
