    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 15.16 points or 0.97 per cent to 1,549.18.

    Volume was 3.218 billion lots worth about RM 2.034 billion. Losers beat gainers 827 to 187.
