    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.800 points to 1,744.780.

    Volume was 3.972 billion lots worth RM2.489 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 586 to 363.
