MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 13.32 points to 1,524.48.

Volume was 3.968 billion lots worth RM2.726 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 757 to 269.
