MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday (Oct 29) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.55 points to 1,562.31.

Volume was 3.035 billion lots worth RM2.353 billion.

Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 495 to 485.
