    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday (Feb 18) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.97 points to 1,603.05.

    Volume was 3.868 billion lots worth RM2.989 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 510 to 477.
