MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 14.60 points to 1,603.94.

Volume was 3.445 billion lots worth RM3.294 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 849 to 239.
