MALAYSIA shares closed lower on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 13.15 points to 1,562.17.

Volume was 7.528 billion lots worth RM4.069 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers by 881 to 330.
