MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.83 points to 1,608.42.

Volume was 5.827 billion lots worth RM3.351 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 667 to 411.
