MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.01 points to 1,522.47.

Volume was 3.902 billion lots worth RM2.789 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 518 to 482.
