MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.14 point to 1,587.94.

Volume was 3.877 billion lots worth RM2.462 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 568 to 457.
