MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.10 points to 1,587.16.

Volume was 2.445 billion lots worth RM2.269 billion.

In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 558 to 398.
