MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 10.61 points to 1,567.14.

Volume was 10.690 billion lots worth RM6.093 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 733 to 503.
