MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.34 points to 1,523.79.

Volume was 2.809 billion lots worth RM2.116 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 560 to 387.
