MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 4.67 points to 1,517.60.

Volume was 3.812 billion lots worth RM2.416 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 712 to 302.
