MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 14.59 points to 1,533.36.

Volume was 2.866 billion lots worth RM1.903 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 618 to 320.
