MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 2.58 points to 1,527.75.

Volume was 3.390 billion lots worth RM2.252 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 518 to 403.
