MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 3.93 points to 1,600.79.

Volume was 3.338 billion lots worth RM2.540 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 597 to 387.
