MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 7.37 points to 1,590.57.

Volume was 6.911 billion lots worth RM3.602 billion.

Losers narrowly outnumbered gainers 545 to 539.
