MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 14.62 points to 1,555.51.

Volume was 4.653 billion lots worth RM3.010 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 715 to 339.
