MALAYSIA shares closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 0.56 point to 1530.09.

Volume was 2.85 billion lots worth RM2.17 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers by 468 to 451.
