    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday (Feb 22) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.73 points to 1,576.96.

    Volume was 4.330 billion lots worth RM3.164 billion.

    Losers far outnumbered gainers 779 to 286.
