    MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday (Mar 8) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 25.69 points to 1,546.87.

    Volume was 3.961 billion lots worth RM3.771 billion.

    Losers outnumbered gainers 794 to 272.
