MALAYSIA share prices closed lower on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 10.03 points to 1,557.41.

Volume was 2.697 billion lots worth RM2.505 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 759 to 234.
